I was in the uper deck and from there the crowd noise seemed much less than Tiger stadium. To anyone who was down in the lower bowl does the crowd noise in any way compare to TS?

I was in 207

With a crowd like that, if TS has a dome, people's ears would bleed....

It's not in TS therefore the crowd noise won't be huge. It's really not that hard to get

I was in one of the student sections by the band, and it was crunk. Not TS level, but I think the crowd noise rattled them (Thomas having to yell at his linemen one at a time). When TM7 scored everyone lost their mind, I could barely hear the people next to me.

I was in the 2nd row from the field and it was definitely the most deafening crowd I'd ever heard.

LSU owned that house!!

I was on the field during Pregame and it was LOOUUDDD.

ETA: It was so loud that Darron Thomas had to shout every play to each lineman individually, and once he had to call a time out because they still couldn't hear him. This is when the crowd wins games.

Do you sit in the uppers at TS as well? Maybe it was a height thing. Since it was a "neutral" field there were more Duck fans than there would have been if it was a game in Baton Rouge, that can be another explanation.

I was in 125 and it was pretty loud, maybe not TS loud but loud nonetheless.

It was loud, but it doesn't take a genius to figure out that it wasn't Tiger Stadium loud. Do the math. There were 88,000 people there of which 25-30k were Oregon fans. That leaves anywhere from 58-63k LSU fans. That's still about 20k short of what Death Valley is on a Saturday. That doesn't take away from how awesome of an atmosphere it was though.

Yeah I was in the student section at the very top and it was LOUD. Not TS loud but still one of the loudest stadiums I've ever heard.

Tigers do work when it comes to crowd noise.

I don't want to argue this, but there was no way that there was that many UO fans! 10-15 tops

I was in 416 (seven rows from the top - never sat so high in all my life). Didn't seem loud that high up but from the way the O QB was having to audible it must have been loud on the field.

We were down field level. bunch of younger folks enjoying a drink or ten. It got very loud down there. Certainly was not UGA '03,that was deafening. So loud that at some points you couldnt really hear anything but just felt the pressure in your ears.

LSU fans were well-represented that night. If you just listen to the noise, you would think the game being played in TS.
