I am interested to see what Oregon ranters who went to the game thought about LSU's crowd noise, The Golden Band, pregame, tailgaiting, student section cheers, etc and how they compare to Autzen.

Leave out stories about how a tiger fan raped your canonized twelve year old daughter.

...multiple false starts, and DT having to run up to each lineman to call a check.

Oregon fans can say what they want, we affected the game to a certain extent with our noise.

LOVED the band...seriously...as a Duck fan your band still sent chills down my spine. Couldn't hear any of the student section cheers....tailgated at a remote location (my house in HP) and took a limo in, so I donno how the tailgaiting atmosphere was, but walking in in it seemed pretty tame (due to it being a massive parking lot). The crowd was LOUD...much louder than Auburn fans at the Natty.

One question, I've noticed there is a LOT of hatred between Auburn and LSU...Auburn fans talking mess on y'all at the natty and LSU fans talking bad about Auburn all weekend...would love to hear how this hatred started.

I was in the uppers and I had a migraine till the next afternoon it was so loud.

And I was proud of the non student fans for the first time in a while especially at the beginning of the 1st quarter and the second half

Goes back a long way, but the most recent infringement was Tubbs smoking cigars after a game on TS's field.

ETA: Somehow forgot about refgate and the chop block.

I meant their "dances" not really cheers. Like bowing to the defense after forcing a fourth down and that sort of thing.

I was in the middle of the ducks in endzone. They were impressed by the crowd, but would never admit it. It was so much back and forth, so much talk, when we took the game over, sweetest moment of my life

Ah...I saw the student section moving, didn't know that's what they were doing. All in all, I thought LSU fans were fine...a bunch of my good friends are LSU grads though so I know most of the shi*-talking and ribbing is all in fun. Many Ducks aren't used to that since Pac12 fans are extremely mellow and friendly, so their skin isn't as thick. You go to a game in Berkeley and most people will just ignore you if you are in Duck gear, the worst you will get is a "Go Bears!".

The only real confrontations I saw were when Oregon fans booed the LSU players faking injuries and LSU fans started yelling at them.

Earthquakes, cigars, barn burners (literally), blown calls, it's a long everlasting hate. Didn't really "start" with anything, although the whole Scamgate did intensify it.

The difference between Oregon and LSU students was pretty funny to me. The Oregon fans (dressed like skater punks, as I've seen it described here) with the skinny jeans, vintage tee, flat-billed snapback....The LSU fratties all with the khaki shorts, lavender polos, raybans with lanyard and extremely over-curved polo hat....with the Bama Bangs protruding underneath. Pretty interesting to see the contrast in style between two far off corners of our country.

One or two started crying about the fans being obnoxious after the game and all of a sudden they all started crying on Educk, the big free Oregon board. I got tired of hearing them cry; called the first one a liar and killed Educk out of my bookmarks. That was all BS; just mad because they got their butts whippped. Sad. Very sad.

It goes even deeper than that. Refgate in 06 and the intentional chop block on Dorsey in 07 did it for me.
