JJ has to defend accusations of 2nd degree battery.
if the case goes to court, there are 4 outcomes:
1. guilty and up to 5 years in Angola
2. guilty and up to $2,500 fine
3. both fine and time in slammer
4. innocent
options 1 and 3 mean we never see JJ in an LSU uni again.
option 2 means it will depend on how JJ acts in court and what the case proves. He might be allowed back and he might not.
if he is innocent and it takes a long time to find that out, we may see JJ in uni, but not until 2012.
Its not going to be any time soon unless the case falls apart ASAP.
So... he is suspended until the case is resolved in some way.
Shepard attempted to influence testimony NCAA was going to hear from Shep's cousin. NCAA hates that. I am hoping Shep is back in uni for the Bama game. Florida game would be even better.
