Punting in a dome stadium

Was the top open for the game? If it was- does playing in a dome have any effect on the punter versus playing in say tigah stadium? I've never been in a domed stadium for a FB game. It seems a candidate for most valuable player could be our new punter. I know its the first game, however he appears to be a solid weapon for changing field position. That is why I ask would an environment like Jerry's place have any effect on the punts?

it was closed and there was no effect... the early shank just looked like nerves obviously as he boomed all of them after that. i thought the ball might hit the jumbotron a few times...

No wind or rain etc so I would say yes it helps but this kid can freakin punt. Very impressed with him.

Wasn't Hawthorne talking about multiple types of punts that Wing cam do during the pregame? He said some thing about a knuckle ball point that would work better outside
