Most Likeable Actors vs. Least Likeable Actors

Certain actors make movies appear better than the movie really is and vice versa sometimes just based on their likeability.
I was watching Open Range last night for the 3rd time and I realized that Robert Duvall might be the most likeable actor for me in history. In retrospect, Open Range is a so-so story but it's Duvall which makes me love that film...he carries Costner and the supporting cast. I can't think of a movie he doesn't make infinitely better. He's a great actor - but I also just like him. As the antagonist lawyer in a Civil Action - his supporting role sustains that movie when it's going nowhere for long stretches. In fact, it was hard to dislike him as the lawyer for big business.
So for you, which actors make a movie far better or far worse regardless of their acting chops?
Most likeable: I tend to overrate movies if the following actors are in them:
1. Robert Duvall
2. Clint Eastwood
3. Ashley Judd (there's no reason I should like Double Jeopardy, Bug, Kiss the Girls save for her.)
4. Michael Caine
5. Richard Farnsworth
Least likeable: I tend to underrate the movie if these actors are in them:
1. Adrien Brody (I almost won't see the film if he's in it. Just can't stand him.)
2. Colin Farrel
3. Hilary Swank (which is why I have such mixed-emotions about Million Dollar Baby. I have two competing forces at work infinitely likeable vs. infinitely unlikable.)
4. Julia Roberts (save for Erin Brockovich, she makes every movie worse for me.)
5. Ryan Gosling

You can throw Gwyneth Paltrow into the least liked list for me.
And let's just throw in Sean Penn for the Poli Board.

Robert Duvall
Interestingly enough, he's said to be very hard to work with. Moody. Lacks a good sense of humor.

A couple more likeable suggestions:
Jon Voight
Will Smith
Tim Allen
Golden Retriever from Air Bud

I'm amazed Tom Hanks isn't first on every list. Nicest guy in Hollywood by all accounts, great actor, and true patriot (nothing to do with politics but rather all the great work he does preserving and honoring the history of WWII).
Other likeables:
Robert Downey Jr.--I think part of the reason--besides his prodigious talent--that he keeps getting chances is that people just love the guy and want to see him do well.
Kristen Bell--She seems really goofy and silly. She's always on Craig Ferguson's show and she's always so damn cute and charming.
Jeff Bridges--Just seems like a cool, laid back dude.
I agree with all the unlikeables in the OP. A few more:
Channing Tatum, Ashton Kutcher, Katherine Heigl, Topher Grace, Shia Lebeouf

Jackie Chan is very likeable playing Jackie Chan in every movie.

That's funny. Well, I never said they were likeable people in real life since I don't know them...but on screen you seem to like their character even if they are playing the bad guy.

Yes to all. Great nominations. They rub me the wrong way. I find their characters irritating even if I like the movie.
I would also add to the likeable:
Mark Ruffalo
Edward Burns
Amy Adams
and as previously mentioned Paul Rudd.
