A&M bolting from the Big 12 has started dominoes falling. PAC 12 will go to 16 probably with the addition of OU, OSU, Texas Tech and UT. Big 10 will respond and Mizzou might get the invitation they craved for years. NC State and VT seem pretty reluctant to leave the ACC. The three other major conferences could well end up with 16 teams and leave us sucking hind teat with 12. I say that because if it happens then THEY will become the ones getting all the exposure. I'm getting nervous.

Not at all. Any of those conferences would love to be the SEC. SEC doesn't have to do a damn thing and they're still the formula for success.

WEST

Alabama
Arkansas
Auburn
LSU
Miss State
Ole Miss
Texas A&M

A West configuration like this makes it better than any other conference in the country, including the Big 12 minus 3 = 9.

Agreed. The SEC isn't playing catchup with anybody.

The SEC is on top as far as winning BCS Championships. They're no longer on top when it comes to TV money. Expansion is the only avenue to increase that revenue.

If the PAC goes to 16 with OU, oSU, TT and UT, the SEC will be chasing them to become a 16 team super conference, unless Slive beats Scott to the punch.

A&M bolting from the B12 was NOT what got the ball rolling.

It was actually Nebraska leaving and TV contract growth.

This

...but if not, the worst case scenario, imo, is TCU, Louisville and WVU from the Big East.
