Yeah, UT and OU are going to play each other 12 times a season. The frickers think they're hot shite.

I hope not. Their fans disdain for all things SEC not named Bama can take their asses to the west.

OU, OSU, TAMU, and FSU to the SEC?
Doubt it would happen, but wow, what a superconference. OSU/OU may be a package deal, and I could deal with the OSU mediocrity I suppose for the OU addition.

I fricking hate Oklahoma and their fans. My room mate is a STL Cardinals and OU fan (after LSU) and I want to jab a fork in my eye some times.

I'm starting to think OU is trying to broker a deal in which they can join the Big 10 and Okie St gets an invite to the SEC. There's no way the Big 10 takes OSU, but they would fit in the SEC. OU doesn't want to play an SEC schedule and could get the Nebraska game back if they join the Big Ten.
The SEC gets another media market in a southern state, but doesn't add yet another top 20 all-time program. They do get a rich school with a very well-rounded athletic department. The Big Ten gets a power football program with decent academics. And they restore one of football's great rivalries.
It's a longshot, but I think everyone wins in this scenario.

Texas is the biggest factor in the BIG10 imploding....why do you think anyone else wants them? You think Southern Cal or Oregon are going to put up with the "new" guy trying to run the show>?

I don't think so. I see them holding hands with OSU and skipping to the PAC
