Should we go ahead and welcome the Mizzou Tigers as No. 14?

It would be laughable

Why dilute the league more than you already have with TAMU?

I can understand adding TAMU but, on the other hand, I really like 12.

I like 12 too but I had already accepted growth in the future

I love a&m from a LSU perspective, rival that we really hate as much as we can hate a non conf rival

I like Mizzou actually. IMO it's a more natural rival for you, Arky- the basketball series is a true hatred so I can see it them working that way.

And now your adding two states that you have no footprint in. We can all see 2 more in 2 states that the SEC is not in yet.

IMO, the SEC isn't going to make a mistake this time....unless you think they made a mistake the first time...I flame arky all the time but I don't even think that so I think whoever, if anyone they add it will be well thought out and in the end the right choice

No one, but from all reports that seems to be who we are officially courting.

That we be such a waste. We can do much better than Mizzou. Actually, I wont believe it till the ink is dry.

Hell you should want Mizzou over FSU or Va Tech. Unless you want a tougher schedule which equals more losses.

Why not?
SEC is easily the toughest conference as it is, why not add money without adding any real difficulty?

Its not like mizzou = duke or anything embarrassing.

As an LSU fan, that would suck. Replacing Auburn on the schedule with Missouri blows. There's too much history in the LSU-Auburn game over the past 25 years to just kick the rivalry to the curb.

The other schools probably wouldn't be too happy about it either. Tennessee would lose their permanent rivalry with Alabama, because the Iron Bowl isn't going anywhere.

Actually, it would be awesome.

replace AU with Mizzou on the permanent schedule = much easier W every year.
replace UF as permanent east opponent with rotation = easier schedule as well.

this is a win all around for us.

Spot on. I like having A&M because they will be a huge rival to LSU in all sports. The 14th has to come from the east.
