So long Netflix.

It's been fun.

They didn't end the contract, Starz publicly claimed that they've ended negotiations for renewal of a deal that still is 6 months away from ending. Starz was getting $30 million per year from NetFlix and is now going to get at least $200 million per year. They aren't going anywhere unless NetFlix is crazy enough to believe their own BS about their customers not caring about newer releases.

To all who are saying goodbye netflix, I don't see that happening. Sure this is a huge blow to their streaming catalog, but they still have everything for rental on dvd, which is tons more than there ever has been for streaming. More than half of the movies on my queue I will never get to see on redbox, so it's not like they will take all of netflix's business. And movie gallery and blockbuster sure as hell won't be taking netflix's customers.
