Just a thought, but Ive been watching Oregon play the last couple of years, and most games they fake the XP for an easy 2pt conversion early in the game when teams are least expecting it.

After the first successful attempt by Oregon last year, shouldn't subsequent opponents have been expecting it every time we score a TD? I guess teams in the PAC are the worst film scouts in the nation.

That would explain a lot...

They don't fake it they just run a normal offensive play. Adds to the gimmick crap style they play. Reminds me of highschool teams.

Well Oregon needs to be prepared for a fake fg, fake punt, or onside kick at a time they least expect it...

I don't give a shite about your little 2 point conversions. Whenever your holder can throw it over his head and throw a perfect bounce pass to your kicker who rushes for a first down come talk to me.

Totally agree. Oregon is the caliber of a high school sissypants team. Nothing to worry about folks, bring on Northwestern St! Now THAT'S a REAL opponent.

I actually think its a great call by Kelly. I have not seen any teams do this so early in the game besides the Ducks. With all the trickery Miles has, its a wonder why we have not done it. This would probably be a great time to try it and reverse the fortune.

No worries. They won't be scoring any touchdowns.

Never said that moron. I think they are a great team but I think that some of the things they do are busch league. Going for 2 for no reason is busch league. I can't wait til it cost the ducks a game.

I hope you are right, but I definitely see Oregon scoring a TD or 2 early, then Tigers shutting them down in 2nd half.

When is scoring "bush league" early in a game, I agree it is bush league to do it when your up by 30 pts, but name one time we have done that.

The reason we haven't tried it is because our Offense "especially passing" usually is very inconsistent and crappy. Oregon is very good at the 2 pt. conversion and they have a great offense for the conference they play in.

That has little to do with it. It all has to do with watching film and getting players on board as to what sort of moves or lineups the opposing team is in.

I have no idea if yall have. I just think it is stupid. To me it seems as if yall are trying to show up the other team. I respect the ducks but I also think WTF line up and play teams with out all these fricking gimmicks.

I agree with this.....thats what it's about right....you play to win your conference......now if we were in the SEC( which yeah I know.....NEVER HAPPEN), I am sure we would recruit different and play smash mouth, run it up the gut and sit on the ball all game football like you all do. That's why I like these OOC games. I give LSU a ton of respect for agreeing to play us.....alot of other teams around SEC.....ahmmmm Georgia backed out. That says alot about LSU's program.

You all run just as many "gimmicks" as we do, when your not sitting on the ball like a golden egg. Football is a ever evolving sport.....get used to it.

Even if we have done that to teams to make them look bad......it's been conference rivals that had it comin.....USCW, Washington and Oregon State. DOn't tell me you all would not do that to bama.

I agree. Its not a gimmick, its strategy. You Tiger fans calling it bush league or a gimmick are just plain ignorant. When the opposing team sees a potential fake they call a TO, which is one wasted TO. If they don't then they probably get 2 pts put on them. LSU just needs to stay put on the ends because how many times do you actually see a blocked FG on an XP? Not many.
