I think they are actually going to do the test, and when it all comes up negative...drop all charges. The "victims" can then bring their case to the civil courts, and prove their case.

I sincerely hope that the next time I see police loading a bunch of bags into an SUV it will be packing up the Police Chief's belongings as he heads out of town in disgrace.
