North West Division:
Oklahoma
Arkansas
OkState
Missouri

North Central Division:
Tennessee
Alabama
Auburn
Vandy

South Central Division:
LSU
TAMU
UM
MSU

Atlantic Coast Division:
Georgia
Florida
USC
Kentucky

You play your division opponents (3) games, 4 non-division SEC opponents.

Rivalries are protected:
(1) Alabama vs. Tennessee, Alabama vs. Auburn, LSU vs. OleMiss, Florida vs. Georgia.

Weekend after thanksgiving (8th game):

-Division winners play in a play-off and winners of the playoff go the SECCG.

-Division 2nd seeds play for next 4 positions

-Division 3rd seeds play each other for the next 4 positions

-Division 4th seeds play each other for the next 4 positions

SECCG winner has automatic bid for the NC. Looser goes to Sugar, 3rd SEC team goes to CapOne, 4th CottonBowl etc.

I hope like crazy that expansion doesn't go beyond 14 teams because 4 team pod divisions within a conference is beyond insane. That would suck SO BAD!!! In fact, it would suck if you had 8 team divisions too. Either way 16 team conferences are a complete disaster to any college football fan who treasures the game.

14 team divisions can still work if done properly. In the SEC's case, that means adding an East division team to compliment A&M in the West. From there, each SEC team simply replaces 1 of their non-conference games with a game against the new team in their division. I hope like heck that if the SEC is the first to expand beyond 12 teams that they have the good sense to cap it at 14. Again, I can't say it strong enough....16 team conference will damage college football.

4 divisions are fine (with some slight restructuring), but you'll need 8 conference games.

3 division games, 2 permanent rivals (one from each of the contiguous divisions) and 3 non division games

you'd go through all the nearby division in two years, and the far division in 3 years

LSU, for example, would play:

TAMU
Ole Miss
MSU
Arkansas (permanent rival)
Alabama (permanent rival)
1 NW team
1 SE team
1 NE team
