Idk why some on here are saying Florida is the worst. In my experience in Gainesville last year almost all of the gator fans were awesome. The trip to Alabama is rough but going to little rock and having to listen to those uppity hillbillies for 2 days is by far the worst IMO

I'll tell you why. If you happen to lose the game, they will treat you like absolute shite in that town. UF's fans are the worst winners I've ever seen. Additionally, the local police are like the Nazi SS. I'm in law enforcement myself and the level of harrassment to visiting fans is criminal IMHO.
Last year, I was walking to the stadium and I had a drunk UF fan jump on my back and attempt to put a head lock on me. I punched him and that ended quickly. The guy came out of nowhere.
I've never had any other incident attending SEC games.

You obviously haven't had run ins with the Gainesville Police. The 98 game I had to bail out Tiger Todd out of jail for wanting to headbutt the head bouncer at the Purple Purple Porpoise. The will treat you like shite regardless if you win or loose.
