Head to head Oregon vs LSU recruiting last 5 years according to "Scout" and "Rivals" iif anybody was curious 2011 = True freshmen - 2007 = 5th year seniors
Scout (Oregon) 2011 - #14, 2010 - #13, 2009 - #29, 2008 - #23, 2007 - #9
Scout (LSU) 2011 - #8, 2010 - #7, 2009 - #3, 2008 - #7, 2007 - #5
Combined (Scout) 5 year head to head: Oregon #18, LSU #6
Rivals (Oregon). 2011 - #9, 2010 - #13, 2009 - #32, 2008 - #19, 2007 - #11
Rivals. (LSU). 2011 - #6, 2010 - #6, 2009 - #2, 2008 - #11. 2007 - # 4
Combined (Rivals) 5 year head to head: Oregon #17, LSU #6
Combined Rivals and Scout 5 year head to head: Oregon #18, LSU #6
"Defensive line" is a position that most fascinates me because it is THE position that all of the national pundits/experts claim that the SEC holds a decided advantage over non SEC schools. Comparing Oregon and LSU's defensive lines, LSU seems to hold a huge advantage in talent in this area when comparing both teams 2 deep depth chart. I will try to provide examples later.

On the two deep for oregon:
Jordan (4 star), Hanna (3 star)
Heimuli (4 star), Remington (3 star)
Keliikipi (2 star), Ebert (4 star rivals/3 star scouts)
Turner (3 star), Hart (3 star)
Keliikipi has ended up being a steal. We have a lot of connections in Hawai'i and he was from one of the little island. I think he went not rated.
So, our dline averages a little over 3 stars.

I meant to say - regarding defensive lines: "Advantage that the elite SEC teams have over non SEC teams"

Bison are you like that guy from the show suits and have a photographic memory lol!

I think I got it right but Ebert got 3 from one of the services and I think it was rivals but that was from memory.
Edited: I checked and it was reverse.

LSU is superior in every way! How embarrassing when they get dominated by a PAC 12 team. What could be the reason?

In the last two classes we've gotten high quality guys. It's an interesting blend of our lower star quality guys that have made through attrition in the program and very solid couple of recent classes that included Heimuli (top 10 DT), Ebert, and Koa Kai'i, which all had 4 stars.

Jeez, I knew this was gonna come up. I actually meant to preface that all by saying "This is in no way my attempt at a game prediction" Naturally, I know these services are Subjective but so is 80% of these forums. That being said, I'm gonna go ahead and join in on the subjectivity and say Oregon's O line is gonna have their hands full. Yeah, yeah, I know you guys rely on finesse, and smoking mirrors so brute strength and raw power play no part eh ?

Dang, So much star power. How embarrassing to lose to a bunch of 2 star stoners.

Maybe if y'all had Ricky Williams and Randy Moss.

Based on this, if Oregon wins, Chip Kelly would have to be considered one of the premiere coaches in the country, if not THE premiere coach in the country by all you Tigers. It goes without saying you would all consider him better than Miles

Your half right. That is a 5 year "combined average" . "Combined" meaning that I combined Scout and Rivals averages

Tree hugging, bed wetting, hippie, liberal, stoners that trounce your team. What excuse can you offer?
