As long as JJ has Miles in his corner and the da decides to reduce the charges, JJ will be back playing if he wants to.

And that means they will be pleading guilty....again no way LSU let's him play.
His lawyer will discuss acceptable terms for return to play with the university and the DA. C'mon!

The university of LSU as opposed to LSU athletics.
Was trying to impart that the decision has little to do with what the football team wants or thinks, hell maybe even little to do with the athletic admin.

The University of Louisiana State University? Thats redundant.

Thats why they hired Lewis. JJ won't accept a plea now.

So he shouldn't be allowed on the team for pleading guilty to a misdemeanor?

he will plead down and be back on the team. could probably take a RS if he doesn't make it in time for this year.
this thread is just asking for a bump at a future date.

Yeah, no one with a single misdemeanor conviction is currently on a college squad.
Dummy.

Why? It will be only a misdemeanor at that point.
Because when pleading you allocute. There is no way they let him play after admitting to kicking a defenseless individual on the ground in the head.
Further it means all his statements of I didn't do it will be LIES

If he pleads down, he will have to admit guilt, in which case there is no way LSU let's him play.
He pleaded guilty to TWO batteries. He is banned the city of Valdosta city.
Please stop spewing your shite of BS.

Then there is no way he plays. The case won't see resolution until the season is over

LSU has its own university?

I agree to an extent.. I will be surprised if Jefferson plays another down for LSU.. His best bet is to plea down and move on to another school.. I may be I'm wrong but I believe he isn't allowed to practice or participate in team activities, putting him in a disadvantageous position to regain playing time.

Or that he doesn't want to drag this out with a trial.
