Why is JJ's life screwed up? He was never going to be in the NFL and he can still get a college degree I think you guys are over reacting

Ironsides, great point, having a degree from LSU will get him a great job, especially in Louisiana or Houston where there's a ton of alumni.

I agree 100%... These are kids.. and something like this could break JJ and make him a life long time criminal because of a bar fight and no real proof. The shoes must be the magic OJ glove...

He is accused of something he says he didn't do. He is essentially kicked off the team after investing 4 years of hard work. Now he has to spend time and money to try to restore a fraction of his reputation.
You don't really know how his final season would have gone, all indications were he was expected to shine.

In Baton Rouge Loseranna, think again .Yeah that's what I said, that what they call it up here, and I am done defending Louisiana. The police dept would have
found away to allow certain people to finish this year out.And Josh he'll be playing this year

If convicted of a felony, he can't get a TWIC card. If he doesn't make it to/in the NFL, I can almost assure you he would most likely move back home to Destrehan and work for Shell Norco. No TWIC card, that plan goes out the window. And with as much unemployment as there is right now, the selection process is very in depth. A lot of jobs I applied for did background checks and when I interviewed, almost every single one of them asked if I had any felonies.
And then let's approach the qb aspect. It sure wouldn't have hurt his chances to play a senior season with LSU.
The really sad thing is that in the heat of the moment, none of this stuff was processed through his brain. I would be lying if I said I never got in trouble and didn't make mistakes like that.
Now, if he gets off with a misdemeanor he can still do the Shell Norco idea and chalk all of this up as one major life learning lesson - like I had to.
We all get a turn.

Where is your cave?
There is more to life than the NFL doofus.
If he is found not guilty a certain percentage of people will always think he got away with something.
Do you actually believe that it will all go away?
Do you believe that no matter what the result his reputation is not permanently damaged?
Seriously are you really this fu cking dumb?
