disagree...Mett hasn't played a single down in the SEC...how can someone conclude that?

Do writers at CFN have any level of analytical thinking to understand distinctions with three very different quarterbacks?

Somehow I think Lee will have the offense ranked higher than 109 in the country by the end of the yr.

...based on inexperience AND looking at all three from an overall perspective AT THIS TIME, there are tradeoffs with each that make them about equal. Again, I say AT THIS TIME with what we currently know. JJ = more maneuverable, terrible passer, avg/below avg QB intelligence. JL = good passer, strong arm (disagree with the author on this), avg QB intelligence, can't scramble for shite. Mett = (all based on spring game) lack of game experience, very strong arm, avg scrambler, intelligence yet to be determined. Overall, this makes them interchangeable. JMO.

does it really matter. Cam Newton didn't play a single down either but you see what he did. If Mett has the skills, he can light up the SEC w/o having step foot on a SEC field. Cam proved it last season.

Potential? Performance in JUCO? I'm with you Chicken - I'm waiting for the payoff.

However, there is no question we have not gotten A or B or even C+ grade performance out of the QB position since RP was dismissed (ETA: A few flashes and quarters, by both JJ and JL, notwithstanding).
