RI was up 3-2 in the top of the 6th. Guy walks the bases loaded and a run in. Dutch hit a basehit and then a 3 run homerun to go up 7-3. As the guy who hit the homerun was rounding third the whole team went and surrounded the plate and when he jumped on home, the team fell down like a bomb went off.
i was watching it with a friend of mine and said frick THAT i hope we come back because of that shite. RI scored 5 runs with 0 outs in the bottom of the 6th to win by 1. Dutch team completely imploded in the last half. karma is a bitch.

Man the Shortstop from Georgia can BALL! Absolutely crushed that HR last inning and makes a big league play in the field.

Shortstop from Georgia is Jake Fromm. He also made a diving catch of a line drive and a diving stop of a ground ball. On the second play he threw from his BACK and got the ball to first (but not in time).

i see that the lafayette team plays at 9:30am this saturday in a "challenger division game" against a little league team from baugo, indiana .. interesting ..
