Specifically the people who go to eat there. When they shut down dinner service, do they just not eat? They shut down dinner service practically every night. Who would want to go to this place? Is it free?

They get paid to eat at Hell's Kitchen.

Why wouldn't you eat something before going when you know it is going to take hours to get your food?

Its free and you are told to eat before you show up in case you are not served

A better question is, where the frick do they find those "chefs"?

All you really need to know how to cook is a risotto, some scallops, and beef wellington, and you should be able to dominate that competition and walk away with the grand priize

Have you seen these contestants? They work at Waffle House and think they're the hottest, smartest, best chefs in the world before they come on the show. It's amazing.

It honestly does baffle me. They cook the same four things every single night, and yet they all consistently frick them up. I have no idea how many tables they are serving in the restaurant, but it amazes me how they manage to so often not even get the first table cooked and out right. Especially since they're all only given one job to do like "cook the sea bass" and they somehow still get instantly behind and then send it out raw. I really can't figure it out.

It would seem that someone would finally learn to wait the extra couple of minutes to actually cook the food. The amount of raw food they send out is staggering.

shite, I'd gladly take a line cook over one of those frickers, most are straight retiremen home cafeterias.

My cousin came in second place last year. He's a sous chef at one of the top restaurants in Chicago. He said the editing on the show is ridiculous.

Was wondering this as well. He's the only deserving person I wanted to lose.
