Disagree entirely. The starting guns will "do" but if you want to rack up the kills you need higher level guns, like I said I unlocked all the guns at level 20. The last two assault weapons in the game are far superior than any of the other. An94 is nice but sucks up close.

Sniper- M95= 1 shot kills stomach above, all other weapons take head shot (Gol Magnum takes 1 shot to heart as well)

M95 is nowhere near as good as the starter/GOL. Especially on hardcore.

There's really not a huge difference between the XM8 and the M19 for example. On hardcore that's even more true. Specializations are way more important than which weapon you use.
