Sorry if Germans, I've been away mostly the past couple days. What a failure Josh McDaniel's entire tenure was. Drafting was just absolutely pathetic.

IMO, this is just a set up to trade him so the front office and Fox doesn't have to deal with the pressure in playing him.

The fans desperately want him starting in Denver, it doesn't matter how the other two play.

Agreed. I was not the happiest guy when McDaniel's used a 1st round pick on the guy.

I'm in the minority here. I think we should keep Orton for now, and go after either Luck or Laundry Jones in next year's draft. We need to build with a QB.

He just has to keep working at it. Orton is not the long term answer. If they start off terribly, which I'm pretty sure they will, Tebow will get his chance to play.

I have no idea why Denver is taking meaningful snaps (as meaningful as 2nd string preseason snaps can be) from Tebow. He needs all the reps he can get in simulated action.

You already know Brady Quinn can't play at this level. Tebow is never going to outperform Orton or Quinn in practice situations where there's no fear of getting hit.

You're not gonna learn shite about Tebow's ability going up against scrubs or with a shitty o-line.

And apparently it appears they won't even let him throw the ball or run with the ball in the limited action he has.

Denver is setting him up for failure so they can get rid of him without a huge mutiny from the fans.

Yeah unfortunately for Tebow one of the few guys that believed in him was fired before he even got a chance to show what he can do. It's a shame the way its being handled but like I said before I have no doubt he will get his shot this year. He has to show he can be the guy because Elway may already have his eye on Luck.

FWIW, Quinn has outplayed Orton as well throughout training camp.

Meh I think Quinn actually has more upside than tebow does at this point. Dude couldn't lead consistent drives without his power dive play in college. I see no way in which he's even serviceable in NFL.

so funny to hear people that dont understand football talk about it.

Tebow was a product of the system QB in college. Florida had such a talented backfield while he was there and they constantly ran plays with guys coming in motion so the defense didn't know who was gonna get the ball. that kind of gimmick offense doesn't work in the NFL. i would bet over 70% of the passes he completed in college were within 8 yards of the line of scrimmage. it worked there because the talent disparity in college football is much larger than in the NFL
