After reading countless threads, posts and articles from numerous websites it seems to me the most logical additions will be A&M, Missouri, OU and OSU. Why? The ACC and Big East need to stay together. The weak link in all of College Football conference alignment is the Big 12. Texas cannot and will not join another conference because they want more money and power than any other school. The SEC can and will not add more than 4 schools. So when you look at all the teams available from the big 12 these four schools seem the most logical. That would give the SEC next to Louisiana and Arkansas the states of Texas, Oklahoma and Missouri. The West would make more sense geographically aligning Mississippi/Arkansas west. With the East being the deep south schools.

On a side note if the SEC could pull in TCU they might drop Missouri. For the life of me I don't understand TCU being happy playing in the Big East.

Now if the Big 10 can pull Kansas and Kansas State that would give them another 2 schools. The Pac 12 could then pull Texas Tech and Baylor if they fail at OU and OSU.

No. Invite Texas A&M and Florida State or invite no schools at all. A 16 team conference is a horrible idea.

Hey, I'm happy with 12 schools just the way it is. I just don't see FSU or Virginia Tech leaving their conferences and coming into a tough SEC. If there was even revenue sharing in the Big 12 A&M would not be interested in joining the SEC. So we add A&M and have to come up with one more school. But because of the demise of the Big 12 if A&M moves to the SEC gives us Missouri and maybe OU and OSU.

OU wants the pac12...easy enough to dominate, respectable enough to go to the MNC without much doubt. Problem is they need a Texas team, alot if students like the SEC.

Y'all don't want OSU though, they don't bring any new markets/money and frankly they don't have the personality of an SEC school.

Never understood why people want the conference loaded with power houses. It'll be hard to win a championship with hurt players or playing against NFL caliber players EVERY week except a lil bye week off.

Just leave FSU out of the equation. Bowden had the chance to join the SEC but he was scared of the teams in the SEC. Remember, he didn't want to play Bama and Auburn during the same season. Missouri is to far away. It's bad enough going all the way up to Lexington. I would say to offer Ga. Tech. I know that they blew it by leaving the SEC, but travel wise, that school makes the most sense. The state of Ga. is an SEC state anyway.

From what I've heard in order to be invited to the Big 10 you need to be a member of the Association of American Universities.

K State is not.
