The new parking system SUCKS!

This pisses me off the more I think about. The first home game is going to be so fricked up! I feel sorry for the people who are in charge of enforcing these new rules, they are gonna get ripped by fans!

Did yall have free parking up until now? That's the part that I don't understand. I thought it was common practice to charge for parking just about anywhere on a campus on gameday. Heck, our students get kicked out of their lots for fans.

They are taking lots that were free and now charging out the arse for them

No it won't, people will either pay it or fill up the non pay lots faster. Then once the non pay lots are filled the surrounding neighborhood streets will get filled, pissing off those people.

Not really sure how this adds up but I guess it could if they use the money to distrubute more trash cans. We have to beg for trash cans every week.
I understand the need but do not agree with the process. The thing is, given the area and the amount of parking on the street there is no other way to police this.

Well, if people were smart about it would force them to carpool or use alt. forms of transportation.
-More people in a car=1 charge for parking
-if people really don't like the charge and do not tailgate to the full extent, use the bus pick up and drop off system, which is being increased every year.

It's definitely better now, than when 1st announced...HOWEVER, the cluster that this creates is still going to be beyond awful

Probably not. But it would be nice of all these people that "Love LSU" or "Bleed purple and gold" would clean up after themselves instead of trashing the campus. Just bag your damn garbage and take it home with you. It ain't that hard to do.

But these shuttles will be stuck in the same damn traffic ... didn't read about all of them but 1 starts 3 hours before kickoff. Will they get through traffic in that time? And how about after??? CLUSTER F no matter how you look at it. Will it keep us from coming? Of course not!
