Things have been really quiet these last two days...

no leaks or info coming out at all except the baylor legal talk. a&m officials must have locked themselves in a room to get this done.

no real updates have been coming from guys like looch, chip brown, and the guys at the 24/7 aggy site. we were getting lots of info from them in the week prior.

A&M wanted this as quiet as possible from the get go but then information started leaking. We wanted it as quiet as possible to avoid what has happened - politics and posturing

Lucci was on with Chip Brown Tuesday and said this is exactly what would happen. He said it's about to get very very quiet and not to expect anything of substance for at least a week.

I have no idea whose Luicci's source is but he's been dead on accurate in expansion the last 2 years. I swear he must have Bow Tie's cell number

I think this is in part due to the fact that whomever is his source, wants this to happen so bad, he's purposely feeding him "dead-on accurate" information to garner more and more support

Miami is exacly what everyone needed. The fact that it is so quiet on the A&M and SEC front, combined with all the SEC AD's quoting "no comment" like pull-string toys, this is really happening.
The fact the Beebe came out and gave A&M a "deadline" confirms there is no group hug happening in the Big-12.

They really did a shitty job if that was their goal, but it has served the valuable purpose of making the general publc aware of the possibilities. This thing needs to down behind closed doors from now on though.
