This has already been said many times last night and today. IN Oregon they do not arrest you for a suspended license. They just have your vehicle towed, unless their is a licensed driver present to drive it home. They can however arrest for felony suspended license. I honestly not sure exactly what that entails to be so. Perhaps if you did a felony crime while getting it suspended, and or are a felon with one suspended? Not sure. But for all the general cases, a guy could literally get a citation(fine and have to appear in court) for getting pulled over license suspended and a hour later, or day later, could get another one, and another one, and not be arrested for it. All that law and cops care about is A)someone present has a license who can drive it home. B) There is insurance on it. If A and B are not true they can and do Tow your vehicle.
Thus...
1)In Oregon driving while suspended is just a simple driving infraction, no arrest.
2)Speeding, however fast, unless it can be proven wreckless driving actually occurred is just a simple driving infraction, no arrest.
3)Small amounts of Pot are just a very tiny simple citation, no arrest.
