The near-confrontation happened after losses to the Patriots and the Dolphins in early December. Sanchez actually pushed Brunell out of a practice huddle at one point, and offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer had to talk him out of escalating with Ryan.

When he pushed Brunell out of the huddle, Brunell probably broke a hip.

At least he didn't sexually assault anyone, so maybe he's growing as a person.

Jets will never win a Super Bowl with Sanchez under center.

I can say that considering they got considerably WORSE this off season. They have given a "green" qb LESS weapons to work with.

No Braylon Edwards. No Cotchery. No Brad Smith.

I think they can win with Rex, he just needs a dose of act right. Sanchez is just fricking horrible.

I totally agree with the Sanchez part, but Ryan?? The dude might be annoying to opposing teams, but his team would take a bullet for him.

They didn't get worse, they maintained if anything.

No Braylon Edwards.

Will not be missed, there is a reason they weren't offering much to retain him.

No Cotchery.

Just

J-Co was one of my favorite players, but losing him does nothing to hurt the Jets. He was the #3 WR on a running team, which limited his effectiveness.

No Brad Smith.

Have you seen the Returners Mike Westoff has produced over the last decade? I'm definitely not worried about losing Brad Smith...

Maintained?

That's assuming Plaxico is anywhere NEAR where he used to be. Because if he isn't, all they are stuck with is Santonio Holmes.

Well they certainly did not become significantly worse.

They just gave Sanchez a large target to throw to, so even if he's half the player he use to be, he'll still be as good as Braylon was for the offense, with better hands.

And Derrick Mason in the Slot and Dustin Keller at TE are exactly "nothing" either. Mason is getting old, but he still showed he was affective as a #2 for Baltimore last year. So him being asked to play in the Slot will cut down on his snaps, allowing him to stay fresh...
