i thought aTm had to remove itself legally from the Big12, then SEC could extend an invite to them.
But, before this happens, the SEC prefers to already have the 14th team doing the same, removing itself from it's current conference before receiving an invite from SEC.

I agree with this. Hope that is what is happening.
ETA - I don't think is a Mizzou or another "western" team. I think they want a FSU/Miami or a UNC or a VT. :FingersCrossed:
