For some reason I think the Big Ten might try to go after KU, K-State and Iowa State (Mizzou depends if Mizzou gets an invite from the SEC first). Everybody knows the Super Conferences are coming. Big 12 about to get picked apart.

I'm gonna swim against the tide.
aTm stays where they are. Main reason: Texas politics. aTm gets too much state money to leave. UT has the biggest political balls in that state and leaving would just piss off the Longwhore backers. If aTm bolts Oklahoma will go away too leaving Texas sitting there with a bunch of "who cares" opponents. Texas politicians ain't gonna let it happen.
Nothing will come of these rumors.

-A&M, Mizzou, NC State & Va. Tech to SEC (Go Big!)
-KU, Syracuse, Rutgers and UConn to Big-10/16
-ACC picks two replacements from what's left of the Big Least (WVU and whoever else they want)
-Teasips go independent
-New Mexico, Air Force, CSU, Wyoming, Boise & TCU to new Big-12 (or OU +11 conference)

Mo is an absolute outpost by the SEC map..SEC fans will not make roadies except for necks and geriatrics going to Branson or Hot Springs on way home. Much like few sans some nearby West foes have any desire to make roadies to Lil Rock or Fayetteville.
Clemsuck, like USCe, doesn't get much rise outta SEC foes, even East ones sans UGA.
Hate the thought of doing Clemsuck and Mo the favor..this will be add Ark & USCe 2.0..
I don't dislike Ark nor USCe, and it got the SEC an Richardson Ark title in Hoops, John McDonnell T&F titles aplenty. And two recent Tanner USC Baseball crowns, plus a womens track, but they don't inspire much passsion from many SEC fans either..
Mo and Clemson, have less going on now, and in future potential, than either of the two original SEC expansion schools had. Yet would be pains in the @ss and counter-balances to the two original expansioners via proxy and rivalry.
If Mo and Clem are gifted in(and face it..SEC brings much more to them than they to the SEC), it really tells you that football is absolute king, that greed is alive and well.
IMHO..they look like all filler..no killer.
ATM and FSU..or bust.

Texas A&M, of course.
After that, I believe FSU may come around, and here's why:
The SEC is sending signals that any interested university needs to approach them first. Clemson and Virginia Tech have made fairly strong public statements that they aren't interested.
Florida State, though, has been a lot more coy, with the president merely saying that the ACC is a "good" conference. That's not exactly a ringing endorsement.
There has been constant underlying tension between FSU and the ACC power structure for years. From FSU's perspective, seemingly all of the conference decisions are based on what's good for the North Carolina universities. Tournaments are invariably located in North Carolina, and the All-Conference teams are often weighted heavily towards the "original eight members."
Just one example: This past fall, the womens's soccer tournament was held in Cary, NC. FSU had to play in the tournament after making road trips to Boston College and Maryland. Since FSU was already assured a spot in the NCAA tournament, the coach decided to sithis starters for the ACC first round game, with the intention of resting for the more important NCAA championship. This decision naturally resulted in fines and a load of butthurt.
LINK
However, a lot of academics at FSU love being associated with Duke, North Carolina, and Virginia. They might kill any plans to join the SEC, if Florida doesn't kill things first.
I'm not a huge fan of Missouri joining the SEC, but they'd be a better fit than many other options... athletically, academically, and culturally (as a land-grant state university). Thus, I see Missouri as a backup plan, if FSU doesn't make a push.
