Really? We have 2 Senior qb's and we are going to lose 2 SEC road games to teams with lesser talent?

Other highlights, Unit Rankings........Bama's qb's are ahead of ours! I know those guys are such experts that they know guys who never stepped on the field are better than our guys who have winning SEC records.

We are psychizophrenic............Yet we have 2 National Championships since 03.

One guy isn't sold on Kragthorpe as a qb coach.

Oh yeah and we are the consesus team that will disappoint.

quote:

LSU - Being a disappointment is all relative for the top SEC teams. For LSU, not winning the national title would be a disappointment, but it might be even worse than that. The Tigers still have to prove they can throw the ball, there isn't any one area that's appreciably better than Alabama, and they have to prove that all the talent can add up to more wins on a regular basis. Last year, LSU won six games by a touchdown or less, and if it didn't hang on in two of those games, the final regular season record would've been a pedestrian 8-4 instead of 10-2. With games against Oregon, at Mississippi State, at West Virginia, Florida, at Tennessee, Auburn, at Alabama, at Ole Miss, and Arkansas, it'll be tough to get through unscathed. Again, when the goal is is the national title, or at least the SEC title, anything less will be a major downer.

I bolded that statement because it lacks so much insight it's borderline pathetic. We couldn't throw last year and we won 11 games...........YES 11. And we need to prove we are appreciably better than Bama yet we had 300 yards of offense in 1 half against them last year. I don't get that at all. I just don't get it, I don't get the media's love for Alabama this year. Last year I got it. But this year with no qb and Julio?

CAN FOOTBALL JUST GET HERE ALREADY.

I say 9-3 as well.

We lose to Oregon, The Refs in Tuscaloosa, and Arky.

6. RB Spencer Ware, Soph.
7. OT La’el Collins, Fr.
8. FS Craig Loston, Soph.
9. DT Anthony Johnson, Fr.
10. SS Brandon Taylor, Sr.

All credibility is lost right there.....are you fricking kidding? No hate for La'el and I expect big things from him in years to come, but to rank him above Freak, Loston, and Taylor. Straight up ignorant.

I'd go with 9-3 as well. I think they beat UT, but lose to either Ark or Ole Miss.

So are we regressing in wins because of the schedule or because we lost PP, Nevis, Sheppard combo?

I'm just wondering everyone's thoughts?

I'm at 11-1 with the loss to Bama because everyone else said so.

Could I see 9-3? Sure, but would I predict it and bet it? NO.

There are just as many ignorant LSU fans who actually think LSU will go 12-0 or 11-1.

I'd say LSU is a top team, talent wise, minus the qb position. They have a very tough schedule as well. If LSU had Oklahoma's schedule, I think 12-0 or 11-1 would be realistic.

9-3 wouldn't be a shock or devastating. But losing to those three teams would be.

9-3 with a win over Bama and the 3rd loss being OOC to Oregon could win the west.

Apparently CFN has a crystal ball that predicts shifts in pattern. That pick is like the computer model on hurricane tracking that just takes the hurricane in the complete opposite direction of every other model.

18-1 against MSU in the last 19 but CFN was like nah not this time. They also were a trap game in 07........6 INTs later we were trapped into watching Croom's speech again.

I think we will lose one of the two against Ole Miss and Tenn. Both of those games really bother me. I think we beat Arky so it all comes down to the Alabama game.

All I can say is remember how high we were ranked to start the yr when all we had was JL and Hatch. We were ranked like 5th or something. These Sports "Reporters" obviously reporters is an arguable term nowadays just do NOT realize how important a game proven QB is in the SEC.

Look at UF last yr, everyone thought Florida wouldn't miss a beat bc Brantly lookd so great in mop-up duty. Well he git his chance and turns out he was just an avg QB who holds onto the ball to long. If I was Bama then I would be worried.

Same note, I think it is REALLY IMPORTANT to get Mett real game action this year no matter how well JJ or JL is playing.
