I mind it a hell of a lot. I prefer to hear the bands instead. If you want an NFL experience, go to New Orleans and watch the damned Saints. This is college football.

college players like to hear a good mix of piped in music & the band. You need a mix of both at this level of a program.

BS!

You don't NEED any recorded music. It's a fairly recent phenomenon in TS. A lot of great LSU teams didn't have recorded music and did just fine. LSU football players shouldn't have to have any music to help get them get motivated once they step foot out on the field. Concentrate on what you have to do and block out any distractions.

If they want to play music on their personal listening devise of choice in the lockerroom, fine. Once that uniform goes on and you step out onto the field, you shouldn't need any kind of music for motivation.

The ONLY time the recorded shite is even remotely acceptable in TS is when TGBFTL is down on the field. As soon as they return to their seats, the PIM should cease and desist.

Most of those that love and defend the recorded music are the same individuals that have helped turn Tiger Stadium into a fragile shell of it former self. (The young "Diaper Brigade" kiddies, the new "Wine and Cheese" crowd, the "Could care less" corporate give away ticket holders and the newbie LSU fans that have leached onto the program because of recent success)

I remember that not too long ago that all we needed in Tiger Stadium for noise was TGBFTL and fans with functioning vocal chords. Sad state of affairs that it's sunk to this level.
