Gonzalas was at the party where the player (whose name I cannot remember)was at before he got arrested for drunken driving. Urban fired Gonzalas when he found out that Gonzalas was there and didn't stop him from driving. This was well known in Gainesville at the time.

He got passed over for it here...and now he's been passed over again here.
BG has no experience and Stud has been with Miles for 4 years. Now is not the time to move him into the OC position. Offseason? Maybe, but not now.

It has happened twice basically and I'm sure BG didn't come here on a lateral move NOT expecting to has a shot at moving up.
But, I conflict myself, because I can see both sides of the situation....GOnzo won't stay happy with status quo and yet that's exactly where Miles keeps him...you figure it out!

Don't agree with hiring a coach based on color, but you have some good points duece, points that I have been making all along.
IMHO we got carried away with trying to get the next 6'4" WR and got away from the WR that blocks well, gets open and catches the ball, etc regardless of how tall he is, how many stars Rivals gives him, what his combine forty time is, etc.
Could be more of a recruiting issue than it is a WR coaching issue, or both perhaps?
I will be curious to see if it is a recruiting issue, as I think Landry and Beckham will answer that question. Both are under 6 ft tall, and Landry doesn't seem to be the speed burner, but I bet both end up being very effective WR's as they seem to have the skills necessary to play the position.

Overrated recruiter to go with all that
Not really, he got Kadron Boone and Jerrard Randall

Call me crazy but I'd like to have a black WR coach who can relate more in recruiting.
maybe, maybe not. give me a guy who can coach em up first and foremost. if the WRs are producing and making it to the pros, all he needs to relate to the kids is "I can make you a star".

They have a lot of elite recruiters at WR coach across the country that are good coaches.
name a few. seriously, I'm drawing a blank, even just on SEC WR coaches.
