I'm originally from Thibodaux but just moved to Houston. I don't have a boat anymore, but I want to do some fishing for some reds and trout. Where are some of the good spots for this?

I know it won't be the same as launching out of Bobby Lynn's or just stopping somewhere along Hwy 1, but I need my reds.

I prefer west bay and the pass area for wade fishing.

Seawall or back bay off of stewart road has a lot of entrances. Or go out to the Texas City Dikes. We caught some big ole reds a while back out at Jamaica beach wade fishing.
