That doesn't help Trent in his attempt to stay here. He better put together a great season because it looks like Javan Felix is heading elsewhere too

I've been an ardent Johnson supporter, but part of my rationale was Louisiana's lack of viable SEC talent over the past three years.
Gathers is really the cornerstone recruit of Louisiana since Monroe. Johnson had ample time to build a relationship with Gathers and his family.
There are no excuses with Gathers, and if he doesn't win this year, along with not winning recruiting battles for elite players in Louisiana, we need to move on.
