LSUE signee from Eunice,LA. Recently named to Louisville Slugger All-American team. Is he any good? Think Coach Manieri should sign this guy next year?

He is the best high school pitcher I saw this year. He is a beast

I think he had over 180 strikeouts last year, lefty a little under 6'0 I think, nearly pitched Eunice to the 3A title game. All around good kid who I'm anxious to see how he performs at LSUE.

I was at the 3A semi final game, and he was awesome. On 3 day rest he struck out 15 Livonia batters and lost the game. Word I got from a reliable source indicated the LSUE coach wanted him bad and put up some resistance with him signing any 4 year school by threatening to steer his players away from any said 4 year school. That could be overblown but one thing for sure that kid has some nasty stuff!

Check it out and see. You know how sometimes those rumors are started. Either way, I was super impressed with his performance in the Semi-Final game and his stats are damn strong

i don't understand why he's at LSUE... he is definitely LSU material, and its not like he doesn't have the grades, he made a 30 on his ACT

He missed his entire junior season with an ACL tear. That probably scared off the D1 schools in the recruitment process.

Mid to upper 80s fastball, nasty curveball, Eunice high school's all time leader in strikeouts....Not to mention he's a lefty who batted .408 with 2 hr, 2 triples, and 20+ rbi's...Id say he's worth a shot
