Thinking of taking the GF out somewhere tomorrow morning/towards noon. I know she wants something breakfasty, because she complained to me yesterday about eating too much cereal lately (and breakfast is her favorite meal)

Who serves a weekday brunch or a late breakfast? I don't work tomorrow so I'd rather not get up early

Good call. Huevos and Refuel would work as well.

both options would be nice

she'd probably want traditional, I'd want fancier

and (as I've mentioned before) she's vegetarian (but not vegan)

i like everywhere mentioned so far. i'm also a fan of Slim Goodie's if I want a burger w/ goat cheese and bacon for breakfast plus a fried egg on the side.

Yes. They have two locations. Both on Magazine Street. The closest one to you is between Valence and like Soniat on the lake side of Magazine.

Okay. Midway looks like about a September 15th opening.

My mistake. Rough day. Looking around August 15th.

I eat at Huevos probably twice a week for breakfast. For the price, it's really hard to beat the Bluejay Special.

It is a really good place. I love the pork tamales with poached eggs.
