Les is in some good company with those stats. If the shitty field and the refs hadn't dictated the Penn St. game, who knows Les could be 6-0.

Why is it every time LSU loses a game It's the refs fault?

LSU didn't lose that game because of poor officiating or the field. PERIOD. The better team finds ways to play in the conditions, but like many LSU fans, when LSU gets punched in the mouth and doesn't adjust, it's because of the field, the refs, or some other excuse.

Les and company did a poor job coaching in the game. PERIOD. Both teams played poorly actually.

5-1 is a great record in bowls, and LSU fans should be proud of Les and the team for that, but for the love of God stop with the LSU got jobbed by the refs bullshite.

The refs should've likely called delay of game on PSU, but that didn't give the LSU OL the right to go and start dragging the PSU player by leg like he did. They called the right penalty in that situation and the only one LSU has to blame for that is themselves. PERIOD.

Not sure about the rest of the country, but here's the records of current SEC coaches over the last 6 years:

Les Miles: 5-1
Bobby Petrino: 2-2 (1-1 with Arky)
Nick Saban: 3-1
Gene Chizik: 2-0
Houston Nutt: 2-1
Dan Mullen: 1-0
Will Muschamp: 0-0
Mark Richt: 4-2
Steve Spurrier: 1-4
Joker Phillips: 0-1
James Franklin: 0-0
Derek Dooley: 1-1 (0-1 with Tenn)

After looking athe SEC coaches, I looked at the records of the top 25 teams in the final BCS standings from 2010.

Besides Les, only two other coaches who finished in the top 25 last year have as many wins as Les.

Gary Patterson (TCU) 5-1
Kyle Whittingham (Utah) 5-1

No one has gone 6-0. Pretty impressive to me.

Plus I don't blame the field either.

The biggest reasons we lost to Penn St. were No Chuck the Truck and No Keiland Williams. No Murphy either, but...

A more telling question would be: How many coaches have gone 5-1 in bowl games over the past 6 years and 2-0 in BCS bowls, 28-1 in OOC games, won at least 11 games four times, had his teams ranked in the Top 8 four times, had his team ranked in the Top 5 in winning percentage among BCS schools, and won a NC?

Wonder what company that puts LM in....
