During The Q & A session Les was Asked what freshman rbs will play this year. His quick, effortless answer was Terrance Magee. I've been telling you guys for a year now that Magee was one of the best backs in the country last year. Dude is going to blaze up the depth chart.

That surprised me the most, even more than Simon over TM7 at CB opposite MoC. However, the more I thought about it, the more it makes sense. Hilliard doesn't provide much more of a difference than what Ware, and hopefully Ford, can bring right now. TMagee can bring more wiggle and miss to the position, and if Gore doesn't succeed at this, enter TMagee. I fully expect this myself. Hilliard to redshirt. TMagee to play.

maybe. i don't pay a lot of attention to coach speak. coach may be just trying to movtivate him or motivate the rb just ahead of magee. remember his comments about our OL in '09? one of the best OL's he's coached? coach speak is based on political correctness, team dynamics and other factors that may not have a damn thing to do with reality. sorry to be so cynical; guess i've been around awhile and have seen enough of the pre-season shite from coaches and the media to ignore it all. the fact is, the people in the know ain't talkin'.

He was asked what freshman rbs will play and said magee. This guy was probably the most underrated recruit we brought in this past Feb. It's going to be fun to watch.

All good points. I think he also has to play because if he plays baseball, hasn't it been said that he might only be on campus for three years anyway?

It's going to be interesting. I'm not sure if he is going to play Baseball for LSU, but if he is, that would be something else to
look forward to. He's good enough for the team, and that would give the team two rbs playing baseball.

I said this before but he is the most underrated recruit in this class. He was unstoppable at Frankliton...

Closest thing to Kevin Faulk that I've seen on a high school field.

I'm hoping an explosive running game from our stacked backfield will finally allow JJ to settle in

I would think because he played QB for his last couple years of high school. Kid can def run with the rock, great athlete.

Because Franklinton is a small town. No exposure in the camp circuit? Why did recruiting services miss the boat so badly on Claiborne?

Because the last talent Fair Park produced (that qualified) was Ronnie Prude
