AJC Article regarding Owners Meeting
Sure hope the owners get this signed today. Assuming they do though, the players didn't sign it last evening so not sure what that means.
Just thought I'd share since the owners are meeting in Atlanta currently...

They just said on NFL Network they dont have anything to sign yet. Its not on paper yet.

You bring up a good point. Since the Players didn't give the owners anything to sign from last night - not sure how that works. The way I understood it from the article is that the owners could get something similar on paper, sign it and then hand it off to the Players to sign?
Dunno how that whole process happens though to be honest.

Agreed, it doesn't matter which side signs first as long as they both sign. Everyone was just talking about the players signing first because their meeting was first in the week.

They just showed Tom Benson and Arthur Blank standing 2 feet from each other waiting for Jerry Jones to shut his trap so they could talk to Goodell. And they wouldnt even look at each other much less say a word to each other. All standing there like they hate each others guts. Thats kinda funny!!

It is sounds right now, to me, that nothing will get finalized until tomorrow or next week. I can't wait for free agency to get going, then boom football right after that.

They're going to vote on a new CBA today I think. Then they'll write it up formally and sign it. That's how it works right?

They said on the NFL network a little while ago that all of the player reps have been advised to be available for a conference call at 8pm eastern time.
hopefully they will be advised that whatever it was that was holding up the player vote has been solved.
