Maybe he's better than him today, but I'd much rather have the 4 year younger $440K Austin Jackson, than the $4.4/M man Michael Bourn over the long haul...

Of course, but the Astros aren't in a pennant race. The Tigers are. To me they have the team to do it this year. Finally got enough protection for Miggy with VMart. But he ain't getting any younger. Have the bullpen in Albuerque and Valverde. To me they are just missing a lead off hitter and another starting pitcher.
And with the ceiling that Jackson has they wouldn't have to give up Turner. Just one of those lefties in the farm system with Jackson would be enough IMO.
