I read some stat on how PPV buys have been on the decline since 100. Looks like that trend will continue.

Last year, UFC had the most PPV buys of any company in one year ever (WCW, WWE, WWF, Boxing, Puppy Bowl). Oh and sold 55,000 tickets for a $12 million gate a few months ago. Rest of the year after this card looks to be very strong for the most part, and Brock will be returning next year. Don't see Zuffa not turning a profit for a long long time.

I believe UFC 100 was in the 1.7 mil range but that may never be equaled the bankable stars still sell really well:

UFC 132: "Cruz vs. Faber 2" -- 350,000
UFC 131: "Dos Santos vs. Carwin" -- 335,000
UFC 130: "Rampage vs. Hamill" -- 325,000
UFC 129: "St. Pierre vs. Shields" -- 800,000
UFC 128: "Shogun vs. Jones" -- 445,000
UFC 127: "Penn vs. Fitch" -- 260,000
UFC 126: "Silva vs. Belfort" -- 725,000
UFC 125: "Edgar vs. Maynard 2" -- 270,000

The only people who sold PPVs were Brock (by far), Chuck, GSP, Penn and I guess Tito, Randy. Chuck is done, Brock's lost some bloom on the rose and is always out, GSP just fights to decisions now and the other guys aren't at the top anymore. Throw in that pretty much every main card has 5 injuries before they ever happen, none of the new light weight class guys sell (2 champs dance around for 5 rounds and dont even bruise their opponents' face and Aldo like A Silva isnt as popular with rednecks because he doesnt speak English) other than maybe Faber and its even worse. I would assume Jon Jones will be a big draw in the future but i'd said its definitely declining.
