Are you talking recruiting in general or LSU? I'm not to sure about info on the process of recruiting. You could call the schools and talk to the staff (who aren't coaches).

I personally like Rivals b/c their sites seem more organized, and I can go to multiple schools sites.

There's a good bit of Scout people here.

ESPN has a lot of publicity, but they aren't ready yet.

Here's a few ideas that I would read about.
Follow specific recruits high profile and very low profile kids so you can compare the process.

Look at different schools LSU vs New Mexico St on how they get their players.

Talk to different staffs about their recruiting philosophies. Just be careful with names and what you write no one needs to get in trouble with what is written.

I've already spoken with LSU - actually went down for an interview and a tour, so I have good info there, but I really wanted to get an overall take on recruiting. Thought I could poke around a recruiting website in my spare time.

My book is fiction and no LSU recruits or players will be used at all- I'm very careful about that. I just wanted more info on the perspective from the kid's POV. How do they select camps, if there are invites or they pay, etc. My book revolves around an accidental recruiting violation between a coach and a family member...and it's, of course, covered up. So I'm really looking for what the family goes through in preparing for a blue chip's senior year.

Thanks for the advice. Cerrtainly appreciate it
