Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City

Anyone else know about this game? I saw a box advertising it but had never heard anything about it. Just looked up a trailer and it looks pretty awesome. Been jonesing for some Resident Evil but 5 was pretty lacking.

I guess hardcore RE fans didn't care for 5. I've never played many of them, but the co-op for 5 was the best I ever experienced. Funnest two weekends I've ever had gaming.
The only thing I know about Raccoon City is that it goes back to the original RE setting, but you are the bad guys now. And from the article I read, it seems to lend itself to some multiplayer aspects, and a bit like L4D, but I can't be certain.

this will be my 1st RE game I will not buy. It looks meh at best.

They've already done this once for the gamecube. That remake was perfect IMO.

I think they important thing with 5 is that they didn't make a bad game. It's actually really really good. Just different from the rest of the franchise.

I actually think my friend still has his and that was why he bought it like Anti, just for RE. Hell he may even have the first remake...I might call him after work and see.

I loved RE5. Never bought the DLC but it was a blast. It got boring after the 2nd time through. Co-op is where "solo" games should go.
