I loved it! I thought it was much better than the first one.
That being said, what do ya'll think is going to be the plot for the Third one coming out in a few months?

Unbelievable. Depending on the trailer, I will likely not see it. Where could they go with this one? Plus, it seems old hat now.

Interesting. Like I said, I will wait for the trailer because I can see where they could take this in a completely different direction, like an exorcism or modified slasher horror style movie. But, if it is more of the bump in the night, which I loved about the first one, I think I will skip it.

Not sure how this will be consistently good throughout the film. This could make the film lose its appeal.

Agreed. Likied it a lot more than original.
As far as diorection...I hope they won't be lame enough to focus on another family that moves into the house.
The best and most chilling part of the film was the explaination on the differences between ghosts/spirits and demons. That just got to me for some reason.

bump so i didnt make a new thread.
i thought 2 was good but not as good as number 1. with all the crazy shite going on they didnt even look at the dvr videos except for maybe 2 times.

The first was way better as with almost any original movie vs. sequel.

I think the second one had a lot more scary stuff happen, but the suspense and creepiness was what made the first one so good. I'll take suspense and creepy over lots of jumps
