What do all you people do for a living? I'm a "writer" for a weekly pub, which means I do about two days of work for the entire week, and get paid accordingly. Hence, the free time to post here.

Don't any of you people have real jobs?

Also, Cajun Turkey with Zapps Jalapeno

I manage two branches for the company that bought my family's company back in 2005. We sell polyester resins, gel coat, fiberglass and related chemicals and sundries. Also own a few rental units in Uptown NOLA.

Delicious fried chicken from Parenton's. It is their Tuesday special. I get it almost every week.

I'm taking offers. I'm thinking about (shudder) going back to school for something that can actually get a job and not a liberal arts degree, which I have a couple of.

I work at a state government entity, which explains my free time.

I have a job title, but it relates little to what I do. I do purchasing, project management, finding work for the peons, etc.

I'm halfway through my MBA, and then (ideally) on to bigger and better things, hopefully a grander project management role.

frick no.

Find one of your clients and tell them to hire me to run their projects.

I'm making what I was 10 years ago, and it's killing me.

That seems like a fool proof plan.

We're eyeballing Austin after I finish this MBA.

Of course 8 million other people are, too.

I'd be shocked if I stay in Louisiana, though.
