For the love of JC.

You're in Chicanoland, the sport is soccer, and Méjico is involved.

What did you really, really expect?

I went to the USA - Mexico game in Houston in 2008, with my wife, and had zero issues. We were in a US supporters section (not the Sam's Army section), but still sold as a US supporter's section. Our section was probably 70 percent Mexican. We had ZERO problems with the fans around. They congratulated us when we scored, we did the same. We shook hands after the game, everybody took pictures.

There was some pushy-shovy between drunks going on after the game on the concourses and whatnot, but I've seen that happen at every highly attended sporting event I've ever been to. BFD.

This guy sounds like an a-hole, and assholes attract more assholes.

PS: You can bitch about Bornstein all you want, but you haven't personally felt the despair of watching the team against Mexico only to see Ramiro Corrales and Drew Moor as the outside backs.
