Could a high school boys soccer team beat a World Cup women's team?

I only played 3 years of soccer in my life, 8th - 10th grade. I was an average player. When I was in college I played some pick-up games that had teams with female college players. They had better foot skills, but I dominated them on athleticism. I believe a high school team could beat a women's team. Any opinions?

Yes. My team beat a women college team when we were 12. It was like 5-0. My high school team could have beat world cup teams.

An elite HS team probably could. A regular one no. The speed and height difference would negate any possible technical advantages.

a good select team could
they'd be so much faster than the women it wouldn't be funny

i'd put money on an average high school team against a women's WC team
too much size/speed/strength difference
too much size/speed/strength difference

Just to name three from Louisiana could easily beat a womens team. Hell, Newman probably could.

my fatass played against most of the LSU women's team when i was in law school. it opened my eyes
*ETA: basketball
just imagine a team of boys who are like 5-8 and above
just bunker down on D with 8 men and play long ball with 3 forwards and you'll win eventually (in soccer)

I didn't play BB in HS and we had a faculty vs students game. The girls coach at Newman was the all-time scorer at UNO at the time. She couldn't even guard me.

Yep. My Lafayette High teams could have taken a few down. We're much more athletic for sure.

a world cup team though? It's not that I don't believe it because of what I know about the gap in basketball, but that just seems like such a leap.
That's fascinating if it's true though

All the boys have to do is kick it long and have the forwards out run the women.

exactly
hunker down with 7 and have 3 guys waitin for long balls
the height, speed, strength, advantages will end up in winning those battles early and often

Depends upon which side you're speaking of.

I was watching the German team struggle to get to balls that I feel like I could have gotten to in my beer shape. Im not saying it would be automatic but I think my high school team could.

damn
I would just think that their organization and technical abilities would be enough to offset their physical disadvantage (something that would be really tough in Basketball just because the size of the court)- but this is really interesting to me now.
