McLeish to manage Aston Villa.

Other than Spurs away and Man City away, Villa have a pretty manageable schedule until December. They should be firmly planted in the top-half by then. If not, the fans really will become restless.

Even if they're not, Lerner just recently settled compensation with MON and Houllier. Lerner hasn't sacked anyone yet and he's not likely to pull the plug on Eck with 2 1/2 yrs left on his contract.

Besides, McLeish finally has the financial support of the board at Villa that he didn't have at his previous clubs. Not an inspiring hire by any means, but it might be a good fit.

not a fan of this choices. Aston Villa fans seem disgusted and seem to be growing tired of Browns owner Randy Lerner
