I have to agree. We go out in our baychamp all the time and have never caught air. and we've been in legit 5's.
Trim you motor down dude. Use the boat to break the waves. Keep your eyes ahead of the boat, avoid cresting waves. And slow down.
And you're probably over exaggerating the seas as well. 10kts =/= 5' seas.

Eta: your experience in rough seas is only as good as the guy driving the boat.

Mangrove dude, you should be able to see them if they are there

We have a champion now and it has a great v to cut through the waves. All I know is the women on the boat will not tolerate running fast in a good chop....it hurts their boobs too much
