LSU - NIKE contract

Is that the current contract for football only or all sports?? I am pretty sure this is the first year that LSU baseball was wearing Nike gear. That had been in Russell for the longest time...or what is Rawlings. Something with an R

I happened to like those uniforms. I don't understand the hate toward them.

I'm all for alternate jerseys to be used every now and then, just not those pro combat ones. Those are hideous. Bring back the purple jerseys with white helmets.

Fyi, it wouldn't be the same ones... We can no longer use the 2009 ones, it's part of the pro combat series, you can wear them for that season but that's it (or so i've been told). If LSU gets pro combat again they'll be new

Our Pro Combat wasn't the worst, wasn't the best. I liked the helmets, not so much the jerseys.


I really just wish we would wear our Purple unis more often. They are hands down the best in college football, IMO. I get that white is tradition. The Puple w/ White helmets looks stupid.

I wouldn't mind giving the artists at Nike free reign to design a unique alt uniform. Tell them "Purple & Gold, no toonces" and let them go wild.

Yeah, I love the helmets and shoes. Not really the rest. I do like the idea of a purple uniform. I like the shoes and helmet because its really the first time LSU has worn actual gold color. Our colors are purple and gold, but we wear purple and yellow.

Nike, go crazy and make us sweet arse uniforms.
