Looks like the reign of Holgorsen starts earlier than expected.

That release is 90 minutes old. It's done, Stewart is gone.

Definitely the biggest botched case of Head Coach in waiting so far.

There aren't many instances where this coach in waiting stuff is harmonious and productive. This one may be the worst so far.

Actually he's looking more and more like a piece of shite. Apparently he is the one trying to dig up anything possible on Holgorsen.

Stewart doesn't look good in this, but I don't know that I blame him. He was pretty much shown the door but asked to stick around so we can kick you some more.

At least it happened 2-1/2 months before the season, and other than the punting unit, none of the player-coach interaction will change

No, no he looks like a complete arse that got caught with his hand in the cookie jar and decided to step down because of it.

My concern, as regards to LSU, is that this is the 2nd year in a row that we are TRYING to play a quality school (UNC last year) that is having major difficulties.

lets be honest...if Stew was around, would it matter? The coaches are fine and ready to move forward...they'll be more than ready by august camp...

Funny thing is, Dana really liked Stew and didnt care about all of this...Holgy is an interesting cat, to say the least...

Just one more example of an assistant from the staff being promoted to head coach that wasn't qualified to manage the overall program. Doesn't take long for a program to start regressing when the wrong person is in charge. We've seen it time and time again.

BS kinda stumbled into the job anyway.. He was their interim coach when Rich Rod left, and the whole team rallied together and made him look like a genius in their bowl game. I always thought he looked kinda like a charity case coach. I'm actually a little more worried about this team than I was a month ago.
All the people saying this team is in complete disarray, look at the cowboys last year. They were having a terrible season under wade Phillips, they fired him and gave it to Jason Garrett, and they started winning.
Holgerson has plenty of time to get his ducks in a row, and now he doesn't have to answer to BS. He had a spring to spend with BS, so he knows what the kids have been doing, and something tells me those kids are going to respond to him much better than they did with Mr. Rogers.
